Time, time, TIME! I have TIME! Time to type! But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. (NIV) Isn't it obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these "nobodies" to expose the hollow pretensions of the "somebodies"? That makes it quite clear that none of you can get by with blowing your own horn before God. Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ. (The Message) - 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 Life has been as good as it gets - and it's not because of anything I've done - it's because of what God's been doing for me and in me. It's been an eye-opening experience discovering the multitudes of ways to serve Him, at work, in school, and through different church ministries. So many things have been going on, but one thing I can say is that I wish you were here! - street witnessing - April reloaded and being tickled by the Spirit - gifts of healing, visions, and prophesy - weird "coincidences" happening all over the place - Spirit-led worshipping experiences - fasting and persecution at work - true peace, hope, and love - some quality time with Kevin V., Joh, and PAUL YANG! - the death of worldly desires - Satan made me puke. Awesome! Yesterday I went to Orochon Ramen in Little Tokyo to eat their "Special 2 - Eat at your own risk" super spicy noodles. Finish in 30 minutes, and you get your polaroid on the wall of the store. Guess who won on his first try???? It wasn't too spicy for me, but it was more the temperature and the sheer size of the bowl that made it hard on the tongue. Aside from that, it tasted really good, and I'm ready for more =) Check it out: OrochonRamen.com Off to class. |
